See-Through & Sustainable: Why Our Sugar Paste Wax Hair Removal Jars Are Cute and Kind to the Planet

At It's Sugar! we're all about giving you top-notch hair removal products that are gentle on your skin and kind to our planet but packaging matters to us too.

Why We Chose Eco-Friendly Packaging (more like why wouldn't we?!)

We had a few things in mind when picking our packaging:

1. Looks Matter: We wanted our products to look fab on your shelf.

2. Planet-Friendly: Using materials that don't harm the environment was a must.

3. Show Off Those Colours: Our sugar pastes come in fun colours, and we wanted you to see them!

Our Packaging Choices

We wanted PCR (already recycled plastic) refill containers. That was always the vision but to achieve that we need to buy in bulk, from China. That will create a large carbon footprint. After some serious thinking, we decided on:

1. Clear, Recyclable Jars: These let you peek at the vibrant colours inside and can be reused or recycled. Plus, they're made from previously recycled materials (plastic). 

2. Minimalist Design: No extra boxes or wraps. Just simple, chic packaging that reduces waste.

3. Pumps, Atomisers: We will be asking customers to keep hold of their dispensing part when they reorder their next product, to save waste. New orders will come with screw lids and the bottle can be kerbside recycled.

Why It Matters

Choosing eco-friendly packaging isn't just a trend; it's a way to care for our planet. By opting for sustainable materials, we reduce waste and lessen our carbon footprint. We have been on this journey personally at home for years - washable face wipes, white vinegar, refill shampoo and body wash, bamboo toilet roll.
